Due to injuries that have decimated their team and the fact that the Calgary Flames are as close to the salary cap as you can get without having to wear a condom the Flames dressed just fifteen skaters for last night’s game against the Edmonton Oilers. That’s right, Fifteen!
Never before in NHL history has a team played with just 15 skaters. Calgary lost 5-1, I wonder if there is a connection?
Interestingly enough according to NHL.com Edmonton scored their goals in the intermissions and before the game.
