Curtis McElhinney picks up first career win
On the Very last day of the regular season seven long years after being drafted in the 6th round, 176 overall goaltender Curtis McElhinney finally picked up his first NHL victory.
This is something that was better to happen late than never. Having at least one NHL win under his belt will be something to go on if the 25 year old from London Ontario is pressed into action in the post season.
Being a back up in Calgary it may be a while before we see those wins start to pile up. With a career mark of 1-8-1 young Curtis won’t be on the plus side .500 untill either himself or Mikka Kippersoff are out of Calgary…….barring any major injuries to Kipper
