The Calgary Hitmen have shown another WHL team who their daddies are spanking the Lethbridge Hurricanes and knocking them out of the playoffs in four games.
The sweep is the second consecutive for the Hitmen after they knocked an overmatched Edmonton Oil Kings in the minimum number of games required.
Hurricane’s center Zach Boychuk called the Hitmen blueline ‘probably the deepest in the CHL’.
Offensively and defensively the Hitmen can do it all. Last night for emphasis Brett Sonne was back in the lineup after injury and certainly didn’t have to be considering his team was up three games to none. With last season sweep still in the minds of Hitmen players however, the Calgary side wanted the sweep for personal reasons so there he was…..playing, on the forth line.
