The Calgary Hitmen have been playing up the fact that they were a powerhouse train in the regular season by using the slogan “This ain’t no bandwagon, it’s the Hitmen playoff Train…” to promote the playoffs.
A train indeed as the Hitmen have obliterated their opponents – Edmonton & Lethbridge – in the first two rounds of the post season outscoring the two teams by a combined 34-7 margin, opening round one with a shut out and closing round two in the same manner.
